The EGHYA study

(Evaluation of the management of postprandial hyperglycemia by an algorithm)

This study is a non-interventional multicentric study of 40 patients; it was approved by the Comité de Protection des Personnes Sud-Ouest et Outre-Mer 1 on November 29, 2021 (RCB ID: 2021-AO2599-32-CPP 1-21-109/ 21.03503.000059 (3° HPS).

The study is being conducted in collaboration with the Endocrinology and Internal Medicine Department, Hôpital de Toulon-La-Seyne-Sur-Mer and the AP-HM Endocrinology Department, Hôpital de la Conception, Marseille.

The aim of this study is to evaluate the overall efficacy of the algorithm.
Overall effectiveness includes both the efficacy in detecting hyperglycemic risk and the efficacy in detecting the absence of hyperglycemic risk.
Patients are currently being enrolled.

  • Duration of participation per person: 15 days
    (or 42 meals recorded)
  • Duration of the study: 6 months
